July 3rd, 2013 Madeira Independence day celebration

The little town Steve and Jen live in is Madeira just a little town outside of Cincinnati, so super cute and they live close to all the fun stuff in the little town, walking distance to Miami Ave. which is the Main Street of the little town of Madeira.
They had a little town parade at 7 pm and we walked up to watch it, the kids had fun collecting candy that was throne at them.
Cute hometown parade, after that we went home and just played in the yard, until time for the fireworks, we could just walk to them also, and they were really good for such a small town, very impressed and we loved everything about this evening.
4th of July was a rain out, it rained the whole day, Reed worked, he has so much work to do. The kids went out to dinner and I went shopping at the mall, got a few things that I love, had a great time just bumming around.
Saturday the 6th of July Reed and I got up and ready for the day and drove up to the Columbus Temple to do a session at 10:30 we had to call and make an appointment, this is a tiny little Temple, the session was full and really nice, we had 2 own Endowments on our session, that is always so fun.
After we went to lunch at Chippoltle, then on up north to check our Amish country,on our way we went to the Smucker Restaurant and store, just so cute and fun to see, I just loved this, it is one of my most fun day trips, ever, these people are so friendly and sweet, I Love there values and the  simplicity of there lives - there homes and farms are spotless, clean as a pin.
Horses and Buggies, so cool to see and the most beautiful children I have ever seen, except for my 7 of course.
Great Day !!!

July 1st 2013 Reds game vs Giants

Fun night we all went down to the Reds games, it was cloudy and only in the 70's perfect for watching a game, the seats we had were awesome, we sat really close to the 3rd baseman, had a ton of fun, and then the rain came pouring down in the 6th inning so we decided to leave, it was after nine anyway and the score was 8 to 1 for the Reds, so we didn't feel to bad leaving.
Here are some pictures.

July 1st 2013 Recap of June

Can't believe its the 1st of July, this summer is flying by !!! Reed and I did a Saturday day trip to the city of Cincinnati, we had a great time just walking around, the town is really nice, it was really busy - due to a Reds Game that day, we walked all along the river walk, its called Sawyer Point and they have this really great park all along with access to the river and a wonderful water/splash park, lots of swings for anyone to sit and swing looking out at the river.
We have found some great places to ride our bikes and take walks up by Jen's in Indian hill, its just such a wonderful and beautiful place, we feel so blessed to be able to enjoy this part of the country and our grandkids, they are at the best ages, so sweet and fun to be around !!
Steve has finally decided to go the Notre Dame for his Masters Degree, he has gone back and forth on this for a couple of months, but we think he will go through with it this time - he starts on the 18th of July, so just a couple weeks away.
Father's Day was nice, Steve and Jen and the kids got home from little trip to the Slugger Museum and Mammoth Caves, mid afternoon on Sunday, we had a nice dinner and Presents for the dads, talked to Steph and the kids, just a really nice day. Called Dad they are having everyone thats left there up for a swim party, they haven't seen Pete for a while, she hasn't worked since they got back from Sharon and Bob's for Memorial Day weekend, they think she is done with working for them, she has met a new man and they spent all there time together and I guess he is taking care of her financially.
Steph had girls camp in June and she had tons of fun, but is really glad its done.
Ellen is on Swim Team and loves it, she has meets 2 times a month on Saturdays.
Eric is still going to South CA most weeks for at least part of the week, Steph still want to move there, and they hope to in a couple of years.
Jen only has 10 more months left of school and Clinical's and she will be done, she finishes the 1st of May and then her big test, she is planning on taking next summer off before starting a job somewhere.
Ben still needs to keep his boot on his leg, he has Sever's - this is when the muscle is growing faster than the bone and its really painful so we are hoping to have this all fixed before he starts Hammer in the Fall.
Ryan is going to take Ben's place at Soccer Camp next week and we will keep Ben out of everything for the rest of the summer, its really so sad and kinda hard for all of us, because we can't do a lot of the things we planned to do this summer.

Ryan is Practicing and playing Violin, he is doing really well, he just doesn't like to practice too much, but he is getting really good and I'm so proud of him.
Brooke has been put in the 4 year old class in Gymnastics and Loves it, she just got done with her Gymnastics camp last week, she has to go every day for 4 days and 3 hours a day in addition to her regular class 2 times a week for one hour, she is doing really well, and its so fun to watch.
Tadge is so excited to have Papa there to play Swords with him and Light-savers, he is practicing so he can fight Papa in August.
Buggy, she is working on her Trampoline skills and crafting, she is just the sweetest little Bug.
Can't believe how big Reese is getting she isn't a baby anymore, can't wait to see her and give her a big LOVE !
Saturday on our morning walk Reed and I came across a great big tree that had fallen on Friday night, we had a huge storm with flash flood warnings, so fun to watch, anyway it brought down this massive tree that blocked the path, we got through it, but is sure was crazy to see. There are pictures below.
