September 22nd 2014

First day of Fall, so sad to see summer come to an end, but I truely LOVE Fall, I will recap the last month with this blog.
Right now we are staying at the Waldorf Astoria in Park City, this is the Icing on the cake, what a great ending to our 2 year adventure, we have had such a great couple of years and feel so blessed to be
able to  have done this and now we are so excited to get back to our Condo and all our friends and living close to town and the Temple, I have been going down to the city with Reed a few times a week and go to the Temple most mornings and get a session in.  I have been to the Draper, Jordan River, Salt Lake Temple and the Oquirrh - the Ogden Temple was just Dedicated this last Sunday, by Pres. Monson after a couple years remodeling, can't wait to go up and see it and do some work.

I just Love coming to this Temple and just walking around Temple Square, such a great feeling just being here

We went to Soldier Hollow for the Sheep dog contest, this one of our favourite things to do on Labor Day weekend - this is a picture of some land that is for sale up in Midway, it just beautiful.

This is a view of Heber Valley taken from Gardsman pass we went this way from Park City to Heber a few times.

This is chalk art done at the outlets
Reed and I went to Tanger Outlet on Saturday Labor Day Weekend - we found all kinds of great deals, Reed got some shoes, I got some Boots and pants and a darling bag - super fun day!

This is our beautiful suite at the Waldorf Astoria, we got a one bedroom and absolutely love it, we have maid service 2 times a day and Valet service full time, great pool and hikes close by.
I'm hiking and swimming most everyday that I stay up here.

View from our room

You can see a portion of the new golf coarse they are putting it up here, it will be super hard to play, but crazy beautiful.

View from our room of the fire Pitt where we have S'mores every night at 7:00

Great kitchen, we have all Viking appliances! This maybe hard to leave, I'm getting used to being spoiled.

I do enjoy this life!

This is a view of the new golf course they are putting in up here.

Beautiful fall leaves, this was taken on one of my hikes.

These cute little flowers are all along the trail that I hike.

This is a view of Park City from my trail that I hike.

I LOVE white pumpkins, saw these at the store this last week - so excited to decorate for Halloween and Fall, just love this time of year!

August 18th - 22nd Education Week in Provo Utah

I Just LOVE Education Week and was lucky enough to be able to go this year, Reeds new job gave me the opportunity and I was so excited to go - wished my girls could have gone with me, but I had a ton of fun even going by my self, I met some wonderful people and even ran into people I knew, crazy small world.

Jana and me.
I was just sitting a getting ready for my 2nd class of the day and in walked Jana and her daughter and a friend from Highlands Ranch, Lestlie is Steph's best friend in Hightlands Ranch and Jana is her mom who was our religion teacher we had on Tuesdays last winter, we loved going to that class together, anyway they sat right next to me, so crazy out of all these thousands of people, they came right over and Jana sat down, we had a great couple of hours together and learning some amazing stuff.

This is Steph's best friend in Hightlands Ranch on the left "Leslie and right is Monica"

Here I have posted just a few of the screen shots that I Loved and took a picture of.

I just LOVE Education week and hope to never miss another year, this is such a feast for the soul!

One of my friends from my ward Deena King came and we sat together for a couple of the classes, then we both tried for tickets for the new movie coming out in October " Meet the Moromons"
turns out we both won tickets for the next day so Deena Came back out to Provo to go to this Premier, we had so much fun and the movie is great, we met the director and producers and one of the families that in the film.

August 2014

Ran into this cute Fred Flinstone car on a walk I do when in Park City we were staying in a place called Park Plaza for a week and then a Park Regency, they were both nice places and really close to the Rail Trail, that I walked on almost everyday up to Main Street Park City, it was a great walk.

After staying at the Park Plaza, we went to stay at the Cliff Club, this is one of our most favorite places to stay we always enjoy it, we had some great hikes and walks, took the tram up to the top of the mountain and hiked down, we go some great pictures.
This picture is taken just behind the resort.

If you look closely you can see a very relaxed deer - just relaxing in the shade.

another shot of the deer!

The view from our room, we just love it up here and we have to say this is one of the most beautiful places we have seen in our 2 year journey acoss the USA.

Veiw from one of the trails we walk on and looking back at the Cliff Lodge.

Another view from the trail I walked nearly everyday while up there.

This is at the top of the Tram, looking toward Heber City.

another view from the top of the Tram

Its just so amazing to be at the top and taking it all in.

Breath taking.

You can rent a horse, but you have to hike up or take the tram or ski lif`t to get here!
But wow how fun would that be, oh there is a tunnel you can take from the lift or the tram, one should not miss going through it, very interesting.

One of my most favorite places to visit when in Northern CA. is a place called Pottery World, I just love to walk through and see all the fun stuff they have, here we are enjoying the patio funiture, you can see the boys don't have the love of the place like I do, but they were sweet enough to let me go and shop.

Peahen just loving Pottery World, like I do.

On July 22nd Reed and I - Scott and Paulette - Steve and Jen and the Kids, and Aaron and his Kids, Sharon, Bob and Aiden and at the last part of the day Kelly came to Jenkinson Lake in Pollock Pines, we had so much fun, the lake was low but we didn't care, the kids got a lot of play in and some bonding, wish this could happen more often!!!!

We went to a little Pizza place right in Polloct Pines after our day at the lake, Jen stopped at the store and picked up a Birthday Cake for Reed, we celebrated his birthday a little early with the kids.

I just hope he made a really great wish!

Kelly, Me, Jen, Brooke and Paulette.
Just before we all left the Pizza place going our separate ways, not sure when I will see any of them next, kinda sad, but we did have a super fun day.

Golfing with our best friends Scott and Paulette at Turkey Creek, really nice coarse, we had a lot of fun.

Turkey Creek Selfy

This is Apple Mountain, its amazing, just beautiful, but the hardest coarse I have ever played, lost a ton of balls, Kelly road along with us and looked for balls, so we came out ahead on the balls.

Reed and I - its a good life!!!

Scott and Paulette

Right after we played golf Reed and I started driving to Salt Lake City, he needs to be at the office tomorrow morning for his very last day with Supervalu, he will be doing his exit interview and turning in his computer and badge, this is the end of a Chapter in our lives and beginning a new one.
We have been so blessed to be able to live like this for 19 months, have had the opportunity to spend some great time with our kids and see the country, its been super fun and I will allways be so thankful for this time in our lives.

Now for the next 2 months Reed and I will be living as if on vacation, so I will be keeping my blog up with the things we do here in the city and Snowbird and Parkcity.

This first week we are staying at the Marriott, Residence inn - its actually in the parking lot of Health Catalyst, so I think its perfect to get Reed eased into going to the office.
