January 21st 2014

This morning Eric took us to the Denver Airport to fly back to Orlando for the next 5 weeks, we are excited to be in the warm for the while! 

Leaving the kids was hard, they didn't understand why we had to leave, we told them we can't live them for ever, and they said WHY!

I'm going to miss seeing them everyday and the funny and cute things they do, especially climbing in do bed with me 1st thing in the morning and snuggling, I love those times.

This is the Fantasy Villa's we stayed in them for the 3 days before checking into Summer Bay, we will stay in the Summer Bay for 3 weeks

These are the pictures of Summer Bay, this resort is really big, but out of the way of restaurants and shopping.

This place is very small and needs some updating, but it will be nice, we have total privacy out the back windows, we have a view of green space, we think it supposed to be a lake that is mostly dried up, no counter space in the bathroom is a challenge, but the bed and the bedding is very comfortable, the other problem with this place is the proximity to shopping, restarants etc, you have to drive everywhere.

January 20, 2014

Today we took, Ellen and the Bug out for the 2nd part of our date with them, we gave them for Christmas a date, we gave them the gift of Frozen again and Lunch where ever they want to go and Shopping with $20.00 for anything they want and then to Ice Cream, we planned to do all of this last Saturday, but after we went to Frozen, Ellen got really sick and we had to go home, she had a 104 degree temp and just plain sick, so we rescheduled the rest of the date for Monday, Ellen is still a little under the weather, but still wants to go, so we took them to Panera Bread for Lunch, they both loved it, Ellen got her Bread Bowl with Tomatoe Basil Soup this is what she got when Steph and I took her out for her Birthday Lunch with us.  Bug got a Ham and Cheese Sandwich with a Baget on the side, she Loved every bite, we then went to the Mall, they had to shop at the Disney Store 1st and had a hard time decided what to get, we did a few other stops, but ended up going back to the Disney Store and preordered Frozen, by doing that this day we were able to get 4 Lithographes and a $10.00 gift card to spend when you come back for the DVD, so they split it and are happy little girls.

January 17th 2014

Reed and I went to the Stock Show in downtown Denver, with Kim and Dave - Kelly and Kenzie and Amy and Tobey also came and met us there, we got the see lots of Cowboys and beautiful animals

We got to see a wonderful and fun Rodeo, we had tons of fun, but it was a challenge to find a place to eat with our Wholefood, no meat or dairy diet! but we did find a Mexican Stand and we got Bean Burritos' with no Cheese, it was pretty good.

Its kind of a crazy place to be when you don't eat meat of anykind, there was a saying going around that goes like this " Salad is what dinner eats"

I know I can look at this cow in the eye and not feel bad, cause I won't be eating him, I can't beleive how many people are eating hamburgers in front of this guy, so sad!

Cold Cold weather, we had to stay in and play - but Reese didn't mind, if she had a IPhone of iPad she is good to go, oh and her puppy by her side

This is our Anniversay, its been 39 years of marriage for us, we just had a regular day at home, Reed had to work and I got to spend the day with Steph and the kids, we took Talmage to school and did some running around, we always have fun, no matter what we do, today we had to get a few things for our Thanksgiving/Christmas Day tomorrow.

Reed and I went out to dinner just the 2 of us and when we came home this is what we found on our pillow

Buggy wrote this cute note and so did Ellen, El left hers on the dresser, we are so lucky to have such great and thougtful Grandkids!

and we LOVE them so much!

Hailey's Baptism Day, Reed was asked to do the Baptism and the Conformation, we are just so thrilled to be here and part of her big day! Steph Eric and the kids all came and we left for Denver right after the Baptism

I did the talk on Baptism and Cathy Couch gave the talk on recieving the Holy Ghost, she seemed happier than I have ever seen her, she just beamed and listened to every word we said it was just so cool.

Sheila came and worked so Mom and Dad were there also, they both had tears in there eyes the whole time, I'm just so happy that they would come and that the whole family was behind Hailey in her decision, I really feel there is a softening in the hearts of the family and maybe someday they will become active, I really wished Bob and Sharon would have stayed for this, but they needed to get home for New Years with Chris, Rindi came with Aiden and so they wanted to get Rindi home so she could spend New Year's Eve with Chris.

Talmage wouldn't leave her side, he stuck to her like glue the whole time we were at the Baptism, he helped her get up from her seat and walked her to the car when they left, he was such a gentleman.

This is a giant Gingerbread house is the Grand America Hotel, in SLC, we took Mom and Dad down to walk though the hotel, it was fun to see the decorations there and the smell of this Ginger bread house was yummy!

I Just Loved this letter to Santa that Ellen wrote, she felt so bad about loosing her temper with Olivia. A week ago she gave Olivea a push on their way up the green belt from school to the van, Buggy had a really bad bump on her forehead "Looked reallly bad for a while" this was a huge reminder to Ellen every time she looked at her.
