We are in a town called Spirit Lake, but we are on a Lake called Okoboji, the resort is Village West, its super run down, but the lake is really nice, we have to drive about 30 min to Church and about 20 min to a store, we are in the middle of Corn Fields but it super peaceful and nice to take walks and ride bike, only problem with the bike riding is as soon as we got on our way to ride Reeds cable broke and we had to take his bike in to a shop on the other side of the lake, then we took a walk.

This is the back of the place we are staying, we are in the 1st building on the road side and we are the top left unit, we have a beautiful view, the picture below is looking out of our place.

Well we have been here in Mishicot Wisconcin since Saturday, it was really pretty warm when we got here on Saturday and Sunday was  pretty nice, then it turned cold, stuck inside for the first part of the week. Went to Church on Sunday we had to drive about 25 min. away to get to the nearest Church building, we ran into some more very friendly people, they were all pretty surprised that we came to visit with on family here, they asked why are you here? it was pretty funny.

Went over to Lake Michigan on Tuesday after Reed was done working, we walked along a walking path at the Marina - saw baby ducks and lots of Lake Flies.

This is the View from our condo, this property has 45 holes of golf on 500 acres, it very pretty, but it is in the middle of farm land, it really fun and so different from most of the places we have stayed, the condo it self is one of the biggest we have ever stayed in.

The size of this place is way bigger than our condo, we have 2 bedrooms, and they are big and really large living area, big change from the last place we stayed.

Just for future reference this place is called Fox Hills Resort, in Mishicot WI

This is where Reed works everyday, its really pretty nice and roomy, we like it.

Took a walk this morning through the little town here and walked through this daring little cemetary, its one of the most well cared for that we have seen, super old but really nice.

May 10th 2014

We left Steve and Jen's about 9:00am and drove in rain leaving the house, but soon drove out of the clouds and rain into sunshine and tons for traffic as be got closer to Chicago, it took us a long time to get through the city, but it was fun to see and a nice drive, its just such a beautiful time of year.

Our place is called Holiday Inn at Lake Geneva Spa and Resort, its not like the typical RCI place, this is more like a hotel, its super nice and has lots of events here like weddings and Prom's, etc.

Our place is only 1 bedroom and a tiny kitchen but all that we need, we really like it here and we are right on the Golf Coarse, super pretty.

This little table that is by the window is where Reed will work all week.

Walked all around the little town of Lake Geneva, its just so cute and they have made all the old building really nice and here are some of the beautiful homes lake side

You can't see it very well, but this is amazing, its a gigantic stone mansion, "who are these people"

This morning we got up and ready and drove up to Columbus Ohio, for Jen's big weekend, this was so wonderful to see her walk and recive her deploma, wow what an accomplishment!

This was a great weekend, one I will never forget and alway be so proud of my daughter for all that she has accomplished and look forward to all the great things she will be able to do with this degree.

All of us went to the Red's game tonight against the Brewer's, we had a great time, its just so fun to go to these games with the kids, they absolutly LOVE them and know all the players, after the game they had some great Fireworks, really fun night.

April 19th 2014

Got up early in the morning and started our drive back up to Steve and Jen's, we drove about 12 hours today - we stopped in Dalton Georgia for the night in the Marriott Courtyard, stept super fast and hard, and got up to drive the rest of the way to Steve and Jen, we got there just after noon, just before the kids got home from church, this gave us enough time to get unloaded before the kids got home from Church, its so nice to be here again and spend some time with all of them.

This is one of the gifts Reed and I got Jen for her graduation, I just loved the paper.

one afternoon, Brooke wanted a bath and she practiced going under water, she did a really great job, she can hold her breath for about 20 sec. that is really good for a girl that dosen't like to put her face in the water!

 

This was Ryan's French day, he has been studying about France and they had a French Cafe for us to go to and he served us fruit apple juice and Crepes, so yummy and he did a great job.

April 16th 2014

We have been in Westin Florida since Saturday, we are staying in the Westin Mezner Place right in town, so I can walk to everything including the store and to get my hair done, I have had the best walks, great walking area and very clean and landscaped its definatly a Golf community here, super high end.

The Fort Lauderdale Temple is finished and the open house happens to be while we are here, so we got reservations for Wednesday and went, very nice and beautiful Love it.

Looks really stormy, but the rain held off until we got back to our condo.
