Well we got the kids off to school, and Jen studied for a little while, then we ran to Costo, to get some things for the week and gas.
Got Brooke to school and Jen studied again and I ran to the mall, I really love there mall here, I had to get some soap for Reed, he only likes a certain kind, so I had to go to the mall.
We all got to go the the Reds game - they were playing the Chicago Cubs, we all had a great time there, the Boys are so fun to watch watching the game, they just love it.
We had to leave early, it was tied going into the 9th inning, and its good we left, they ended up going 13 inning, but the good thing is they won !!

April 21st 2013

We got up and loaded the car and we were on out way at about 8:00 a.m. Just a beautiful day for a drive, we have been so blessed to be able to do this and have had such great weather conditions for driving - I have posted a couple pictures of the drive, there are just tons of these beautiful purple flowering trees, its just so cool to see them all along the freeways - I must say North and South Carolina are some of the most beautiful drives we have been on, I love the hills and all the trees and water.
We got to Steve and Jens, about 2:00 p.m. Reed unloaded the car and ran to get gas, while Jen and I took Ryan to his Baseball game, I don't like that they have baseball games on Sunday, but I guess that is what you get when your not in Utah, but this isn't all the time, this game happens to be a makeup game, due to rain during the week.
Ryan just loves Baseball and he is really good, fun to watch him !
We had a nice Ham dinner and good family time, its just so nice to be with the kids, and I'm looking forward to all summer with them.

April 19th 2013

On Wednesday Reed got off work early, so we drove up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, its just so beautiful, it is a little early in the season for all the leaves to be on the trees, its really high for this park of the country, we went to the highest point, its called Mt. Michell, they haven't even opened the park yet, and they won't until May 1st.
Any way its a super steep and curvy road, but fun to drive on !
The pictures below are the sunset at the top in Mt. Michell, its pretty dark already so not really good in a picture but really pretty seeing it for real.
Then the other pictures are pretty much what I see every morning when I go for my walk, I go for about 1 hour, sometimes a little longer, depends on how hot I get, but its just so pretty and the smells up here are heavenly, If only I could bottle it.
We walked down to the Resort center on Thursday evening and just sat in the beach chairs and watched the water and boats and all the ducks, etc, so relaxing and nice, this is what life is all about, we are " living the dream"
Friday, we woke up to rain and it rained all day, so we just stayed in and had a fire in the fireplace and I knitted and Reed worked - we had a nice day - The only down side, is I couldn't take my walk and the only thing on TV was the horrible stuff happening in Boston, they have been trying to get the 2nd person involved in the Boston Marathon Bombing, he is still on the run at this point and his brother is dead.
These pictures below are what I see on my walks, the one has 3 turkeys in it, they were so big ! and I thought I could get closer, but they said NO !

April 16th 2013

Yesterday I went for a walk in the morning, wow just so fun hear all the birds and smell this fresh clean air, its really hilly and gave my legs a serious workout, it really was good for me to break a sweat, I have been doing a lot of walking all though the parks, but its different in Florida its all flat and we don't walk fast, we just stroll, when Reed got off work, we took a walk down by the activity center, we kind of got lost, its just so wooded and lots of streets that look the same and wind all over the mountain, it was really fun, we loved it !
Today I went for another walk, and I could feel the sore muscles from yesterday, Its a beautiful day - its just really nice and relaxing here.

April 14th 2013 Sunday and our travel day up to Lake Lure North Carolina

Reed got up early and got the car all packed and when he was done, he woke me up and we took the last bit out and we were on our way at about 8:00 am
The day was mostly cloudy so the drive was just so beautiful, we had a perfect drive, it took us about 10 hours to get there, it was really good that we got there by 6:00 pm because it was really tricky to find in the daytime and it would have really been difficult to find in the dark, it kind of reminds me of the Bransen Place we had, it very hidden away, which is great after your there.
Our place is very roomy and nice, we have a great view of the golf course and so private, we love it and would stay here again, the only down side is - it's pretty far from any kind of store, so you should pick up what you need for the week on your way in to the resort, which is what we did !
We unloaded and took a ride down to the main part of the resort, where the pool and tennis courts are, its really nice and has a darling little beach there - the lake is so cute, you have to drive down to the play stuff, that is another downside - one fun fact is the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed here, kinda fun !
I put a picture of a little log cabin that is for sale here near the resort, I thought is was so cute, there is a ton of properties for sale here, I think this place had a hard hit during this recession, and hasn't come back yet.

Last Day at Disney World April 13, 2013

Today we got all pack before we left the condo, and then we got dressed and ready to go do a session at the Orlando Temple - we got on the 8:30 session, there were only about a dozen patrons on the session so it went really fast, it was so nice to be there and see this beautiful place and feel of the Spirit. After the Temple we went back to the condo and changed so we could have some more fun at Disney World, wow did this week go by fast !
On our way to Disney we decided to check out Celebration, its a housing area that Disney started and has sold it, but its still pretty cool, we love it, they were having an Exotic Car Show this weekend, so there happened to be a big party, so that made it really fun to see, Reed got a cool shirt from the show - the money made from the shirts all went to a charity, so that was great. We walked all around town and talked to a Real Estate Agent, got some good Info, any way I love it here and would really love to be able to live in this area, its pretty perfect - except I have no family here. Check out the picture below of just a sample of what they have there.
We went over to Magic Kingdom for our last day here, and had a great day or half a day as it turned out, we did our favorite - Splash Mountain a couple times and then hit all the other that we could, without waiting in lines that were too long, it was a super busy Saturday, but then everyday here is super busy, there is not such thing as a slow day !!
We left just pooped but Loved every minute of this time here.

April 12th 2012

Well today we went back to Hollywood Studio's this was a really nice time, we went over a little later than normal, and didn't rush at all, we just strolled and went on all the rides we missed the last time we were here, we went on Backlot tour, and watched the stunt show with all the little cars and the Indiana Jones Stunt show that is always fun, it was just a really nice day and perfect temperature - we had a great time.

April 11th 2013 Thursday

Today we decided to go to Breakfast before going to the parks, so we went and had a breakfast buffet, terrible Idea, I have no self control and ate way too much, but it sure was good !!
We went over to Epcot today after our huge breakfast, its super busy like everyday so far, I really don't think they have slow days here.
I just love all the flowers, this is the best time - the flowers and topiaries are just so awesome, I took a lot of pictures but they just don't do it justice.
We got to go on Soaring twice, that is my favorite ride in Epcot - I just love it. We rode the Test Track for the 1st time this trip - it all new since we were here 3 years ago, and it was really fun, but the wait was super long and the ride itself super short, really cute concept cars to look at while your waiting for your ride, that kind of fun.
Didn't eat anything today at the park, we ate so much at breakfast, but when we decided it was time for dinner, we left the park and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, again we ate too much, but wow was it yummy, we both loved every bite.
