This is Colter Bay, and we just walk down to this beautiful place for our little cabins, so super nice, we loved it here, its just too far away to drive from here to YellowStone each day, so next time we will just stay a couple nights here and a couple nights in Yellowstone, then on to Jackson Hole for a couple of nights, try and cut down on the driving.
This is the front of our cabin and Steph and Eric stayed right next door to us, it was so much fun, we got to have one of the kids stay in our cabin each night and the wall were so thin, we could talk to each other by knocking on the wall!
That is Reed standing in the door way of our cabin, these cabins are original Pioneer cabins for this area and they moved them to Colter Bay.
We had a desk and 2 double beds and a twin bed in each of our cabins, super comfy beds.
Nothing fancy - but perfect for here.
Reed had the kids set up for a movie, they are all so cute!
El and Bug on our hike around Swan Lake - by Colter Bay.
Here you see millions of Lilly Pads, and there are ducks and geese mixed in, very cool.
Kids and Reed climbing on logs.
Talmage - he loves this - but the kids got eaten alive with Mesquitoes, they were so bad this year, it looked like El and Talmage had measles, I felt so bad for them, Bug didn't get bitten too bad nor did Reese, Reed and I did, so did Steph and Eric, wow they were bad!!
Beautiful shot of the falls, from Artist Point
This is just an amazing place, I see it pretty often and still I'm amazed at the wonders here.
Lots of BIG ants! this kids thought this was super cool.
As we drove all through Yellowstone, El and Bug did my hair and gave me a scalp massage, it was so nice, i just love those girls!
